Guest guest Posted January 7, 2008 Report Share Posted January 7, 2008 I have a question for anyone who knows anything of has had experience with advair. My doctor added advair in November. It worked well for me but I have this problem- I'm sick more than I'm breathing well. I got bronchitis and sinusitis right after thanksgiving and he gave me meds for both . The sinusitis hung around until right after Christmas( it took 2 rounds of antibiotics, one stronger than the other for it to totally go away) Now I'm sick again and Saturday I had a severe attack ( didn't go to the ER cause the inhaler worked) I don't have any asthma plan and wouldn't know where to go or what to do if this were to happen again. I'm sick again but not as bad this time. I'm still sore from struggling to breathe all week . Is this because of the advair? Do I need to switch meds or will it get better?
