Guest guest
I have been seeing Dr. Noble since October and he is treating me for adrenal problems with hydrocortisol, 10 mg. 5mg might be a better amount for me. Guest guest
Joy- I would think that he could. The only way to find out for sure is to make an appointment. It sounds to me like you may have some kind of resistance to the hormones, so they just swim around in your blood instead of getting into your cells.Bobo Amerigo wrote: Jan,Do you think that Dr. could help me sort out the elevatedreadings I have on these hormones (estrogen, progesterone, cortisol, testosterone . . .), not to mention thyroid (but only in serum tests, not saliva . . .)?Thanks, kidbobo>> I found exactly one doc who is really good for adrenal issues. Thatis E. Steve in Lubbock. He used to teach and do research atUT Southwestern Medical School with steroid hormones as his area ofspecialization. Quite a few of us in the DFW area find it worth ourwhile to make the trip to Lubbock. > > He understands how all of the hormones work together andprescribes compounded bio-equivalent sex and adrenal hormones alongwith Armour Thyroid. I amsurprised that your doc is just now getting around to testing yourcortisol levels. The prescribing info for all thyroid meds states thatany adrenal insufficiency should be treated before thyroid meds arestarted. Yahoo! Photos Ring in the New Year with Photo Calendars.
