18 months ago, I had a Medtronic pump put in for my leg RSD. Prior to the

pump, I was on 180 mgs. of MS Contin a day, without any pain relief. The next

day from the pump I was on 4 mgs a day, 3 month later down to 2 mgs a day and

now less then 1, I'm at .09 per day. I felt know withdrawal. Maybe I was

lucky. And the pump enabled me to walk again.

Hi K,

I know that slow withdrawal works without any side

effects usually, even for methadone, which I was on

for 6 months, and percocet taking 4 or 5 every 4

hours, in other words way too much!

kathy, that is great, I have heard that the pump is really good and delivers

the pain med almost immediately and how a person can cut way down on the meds..
