I'm not sure why we have to have a prescription but my insurance pays for ours.

It's considered a durable medical device. Do you have freecycle in your area? I

have seen people giving them away all the time on our local one.

And why in the world do we have to have a prescription for it when the insurance company won't even pay for it? I'd like to get a second one to keep in my vehicle but the one I got from the pharmacy is more expensive than the ones I can find online!

I was told to wash it, take the end the inhler firs into off, then put the whole lot into mild detergent and leave to soak. Then you need to let it drip dry - DON'T dry it with a tea towel, as this causes static, and th stuff coming out of hte inhaler will stick to it.

I was given mine for free by the nurse, though to get one of teh bigger ones I'd have to go to a pharmacy, and they are about £5 there.

Don't brand me, don't classify me, don't tell me what to wear. I'll be who I want to be, and I'm proud to be me.
