For high copays, see if your insurance has a mail order program. You

can usually get a 3 month supply for about 2 months copay amount. For

things that you take all the time, this is the way to go.

I know my family Dr has done that and it is cheaper to go that route, I'll have to see if the allergist/asthma dr will do the same. Thanks

The drug manufacturers usually have programs also. When I was laid off of my job and had no insurance I was signed up by my clinic for some programs. I received Advair and Proair and nasal inhaler free for a year by mail. cathy_springstead63 wrote: For high copays, see if your insurance has a mail order program. I'm paying $118/mo for my Flovent and I can't seem to qualify for any

assistance altho I only earn about $9,000 a year. I'm told I must be

on Medicaid first. But I can't qualify for Medicaid because my car is

worth more than $4,000. Don't understand what you have to do. Tried

the Montrose (?) thing, too. But again I made too much

money--at $9,000 a year. And when you add my Albuterol to that -- it's

$140/mo, which is more than 10% of my total income. But I guess there

are people spending more than that. --martha

There is a new bronchodilator you can use with a nebulizer that does

not cause all the tremors, heart-racing and increased blood

pressure. I use it in my nebulizer, but I believe it is available in

an inhaler too or will be soon. It is called Xopenex and it is WAY

Melaleuca products really are very good. It can be spendy though. I

think you can find them on the web at www.melaleuca. com

How do you get in contact with the companies to get free medications? I'll go get my ziplock of boxes and see if there are any websites on the boxes and try contacting the companies. Any other suggestions I'm open to I live in the USA

Xopenex doesn't make you shake as bad as the other meds to be used in the nebulizer. I don't get something though, All my asthma/allergy meds all have a high copay $45 a piece, and there are 4 of them each month. Wish there was a way to get them cheaper

Nothing to do with me

getting in contact with the companies.

It is to do with the governments of the

countries. Wales has it’s own assembly and they

decided that people should get free prescriptions for long term illnesses and

infections, but not if you want paracetamol in just

incase you get ill.

I was going to a clinic that worked on a sliding scale and they were used to filling them out. they handled it for me. Let your doctors office know your financial situation they may be able to help. I have never heard of it. Alice>> I also have Xopenex, good stuff and works but the dr said with all he had me on I should need the nebulizer, I have 8 unopened boxes of Xopenex, I wish I could ship it to you since you use it, Do you think the postal service would allow that?> > > Terry > I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I use it in my

nebulizer, but I believe it is available in an inhaler too or will be soon. It is called Xopenex and it is WAY better than albuterol, in my opinion. Melaleuca products really are very good. It can be spendy though. I think you can find them on the web at www.melaleuca. com _____ > No viruses found in this incoming messageScanned by iolo AntiVirus 1.5.3.5http://www.iolo.com No viruses found in this outgoing messageScanned by iolo AntiVirus 1.5.3.5http://www.iolo.com Sent from Yahoo! Does anyone on here use it, I must have 8 boxes and with using the spacer I

don't use the nebulizer anymore, I am keeping 1 box just in case. But I hate

to throw this expensive stuff away. If you use it and want me to mail it to

you please email me off the list. Soccer.mom@...

Thanks, Have a great breathing day!
