I have adtavent for the nebulizer and ventolin nebules for the machine to... I also have some solphamol pain relief with 30mg of codiene in which i take as and when for sciatica. My peaks are still 2200 ... I am still on 40mg daily pf predisilone steroids.... Back to the gp pn Monday... I am well confused though... You say yours are 400 then up to 550.. You know me on a good day im around 400.... the last 16 days or so they have been sitting at 200.. Gp told me to present at a & e or ring for ambulance if i feel im getting worse. The ony time i feel worse is when i do house chores etc.. but needs must with being on my own with 2 kids to... Have you ever experienced this long term low p/f and chest infection thing like i seem to have just now or anyone else reading this and let me know how you got through it and how long it took you to feel human again.... This site is absoloutely brilliant... its helping me understand my asthma much more.. I felt like i was the only one suffering in this way... other asthmatics apparently have been inundating the gp surgeries here so there is certianly something causing it. At least I was covered..Btw...since I started the Flovent yesterday at noon, my pf went from 400 to 550 today. I guess I really needed to get seen! Anyway, my coughing is almost completely gone today as compared to Monday. And I dont want to sleep all day!! I even showed improvement on my workout at Curves. (Why I went on Monday I dont know, but I did and I struggled. I guess its something to do with finally getting disciplined to go 3x a week) Ill be anxiously awaiting the results of the allergy tests the doc wanted run yesterday. They WILL drop your pfr so be careful. I do hope you get those numbers up soon and I'm very glad to hear your going back to the gp Monday! Terry I know God will not give me anything I can't handle.
