Guest guest
I have a 6 year old son that is currently taking Claritin, Nasonex, and Advair for asthma/allergies. His allergies are really bothering him - coughing, congestion, and sneezing. I have called his doctors and they said to try sudafed, but it doesn't seem to work. He has tried Singulair and Zyrtec but he becomes a very different child and is very emotional. I really need to try something else, but I don't know what is out there. Help! Guest guest
Try seeing an allergist he may be a candidate for shots. I can say that I take zyrtec as needed which is very rare because shots have fixed my allergic reactionsas for the Singulair I experienced the same thing and so you Know Advair is the cause of the emotional issues because it is a steroid component. the the meds are just making the reaction worse.good luckI have a 6 year old son that is currently taking Claritin, Nasonex, and Advair for asthma/allergies.
