Guest guest
Hi , Well, each person is an different. When my EI doctor put me on vitamin C I had to work up to what was right for me. In my case I had to buy 2 kinds from NEEDS. (NFI) http://www.NEEDS.com I got TwinLab Allergy C and Nutracology Vitamin Research PURE C (powder) from beet source. I started out with just one on the Twinlab and worked up to 7 for me. On the powder I started out with 1/2 teaspoon but you may be different. I was told to work up to "bowel tolerance" which means you take it for days until you get diarrhea then you back off just a little and that is the amount the body needs. After several years I found that in my case I could stop an asthma attack by using Nutracology PURE C powder and I got off the inhalers completely which I had been using for 35 years!!!!! The vitamin C supported my adrenal function and I got rid of the chronic pain above my right kidney. Now this is all ALTERNATIVE therapy which has been like a miracle for me in my case. I hope it will help someone else but we are all different. I was also told that essential fatty acids are critical so to take evening primrose oil. For some flax seed oil works. I knew one woman who had to use grape seed oil. These oils help stop inflammation. I can give you much more vitamin/supplement info but I would prefer to do it back channel due to the alternative nature which is mostly frowned on by most people. If you join Green Canary they are very alternative. For instance my bottle of deglycyrrhiznated licorice just arrived today which Dr. D'Adamo says will CURE CFIDS. Two years ago I tried plain licorice and got into trouble with my bood pressure as licorice will sure make it shoot up. Then I found out I am supposed to be using the deglycyrrhizinated one. So as soon as I get better from this bout of "flu" I am going to try this again. Get yourself a copy of Dr. D'Adamo's book: 4 Blood Types 4 Diets Eat Right for your type. Lots of info which for me has been helpful. I also recommend that you read Dr. Sherry book: Tired or Toxic which my EI doctor insisted that all her patients read. If you couldn't read it then ..........well.........You can get second hand copies of both these books fairly cheap. Start out slow and don't take a bunch of stuff all at once. You have to see what is working for you. It takes time.
