Guest guest
I just started on my Metanx Saturday morning, after being on Foltx for a year. I noticed I felt a bit dizzy and goofed out all day, almost tipsy, and I felt more edgy or upset, possibly stomach irritation? I didn't feel like doing much and stayed on the couch. Not tired enough to nap, but definitely off center. I'm a little bit less goofed out today, but still edgy, and energy is still low. Sharon, and anyone else who went from the Foltx to Metanx - if you had these side-effects, did they last very long? I remember that Courtenay had serious trouble with Foltx. Also - I re-read Sharon's info-packed post from the 9th and she mentioned the need for the B's and the folate for hypos who tend to have heart issues and predisposition to Type II diabetes, as well as support for getting more thyroid into your system. I can't remember for sure, but I thought Dr. mentioned something else like nerve and brain function health. Is this right? If Metanx continues to exhibit uncomfortable side effects, is it ok to go back to Foltx, if my homocysteine levels are good and I can tolerate increased doses of Armour?
