Guest guest
I received my ultrasound report in the mail today. Of course not having talked with the Doctor it is like reading Greek. Perhaps someone can shed some light. Examination demonstrates a multinodular thyroid. Specifically a hyperechoic nodule is seen in the upper pole of the right lobe measuring 1.4 X 1.2 cm. A more heterogeneous nodule is seen in the mid right thyroid measuring 2X 1.7 cm. It has mostly solid components but has small cystic components as well. There is a 1.1 x 1.4 cm nearly isoechoic nodule in the mid left gland. There is a 1.1 x 0.6 cm nodule in the isthmus. The right lobe measures 5.3 x 2 x 1.6 cm. The left lobe measures 4.6 x 1.4 x 1 cm. Pickle
