I had already graduated from FSU, married, had 2 young children and was

divorced when the Ted Bundy murders occurred at FSU. What was really weird

was that I knew the sorority house well and knew the path he took. Later on,

at my 20th HS reunion, one of the chief detectives told some of us that it

was worse than could have been reported. Needless to say, there were lots of

fearful people around here during the days before he was caught.

As another coincidence, when I lived in south FL for a time [think the kids

were 7 and 10], we used to shop at the Sears store where Adam Walsh was

kidnapped. All the mothers would let the kids play at the toys area if they

were only going to be gone about 5 minutes and a short distance. I have to

thank God that the day Adam was kidnapped, either the man wasn't there when

my kids were or he didn't want them.

I have to believe that there is a higher power watching out for us.
