NOT sure how to do this. but I have 2 boxes unopened that the dr's gave me a while back and I can't use them, I can send them to who ever wants them. They are 250/50 and expire one on August and one on September. I hate to throw these away. can anyone use them? I even have a black carrying case for when you go away to store it in, I got it for free to filling out a questionnaire.

I use Advair now and it works well for me. I don't have any problems with it.

God bless you!

I use to use advair, what's real happy with it. I started a month ago on Symbicort and it worked great for me and gave me back my life. I'm not pushing one drug over another, just an opinion. Good luck. be sure to discuss all your concerns with your dr!

Is anyone on or has anyone been on Advair? I would really like to change medications as I have read alot about Advair and side effects. I was on Flovant for four days but it seemed to not work as well, or maybe my body was just adjusting to the change. I also tried Qvar for a week or two and it didn't seem to work as well. Are there withdrawal symptoms with advair that can make your breathing worse for a short time? Especially considering my negative methacholine results I don't know what I should be on. I do wheeze in the mornings and sometimes in the evenings. I am on 250/50 once a day in the am now. I know one member recommended Intal. Can I switch from a steroid to a non steroid med pretty safely or do some people just need the steroids? Thanks for any advice or personal stories of what has helped you. My main symptom is almost constant shortness of breath, which gets worse with any kind of illness. Also some wheezing and coughing, which gets worse with illness. I would love to get the shortness of breath under control, and even Advair doesn't do that.
