Reality is the ONLY thing that IS, it always WAS and it always WILL BE (the ONLY thing that IS). And it is what it is, regardless of what you and I might say about it. What is discussed in your post is interesting enough, but in my view, the author of the text isn't discussing reality, perception maybe, but not reality!
