Guest guest
Dear Malini, I thought by now Ameet or some other cooking expert might have answered your querry. I will try to answer in my way. Do you know " Karanji " and " Pooran poli " ? If we put Pooran of Pooranpoli in Karanji and deep fry it. then it becomes " Kadboo " . ( I dont know hoe to translate these key words. Kishooooore, pleaaaaase heeeeelp...! There is a short story by veteran marathi writer Va. Pu. Kale called " Karanji " . At the end he says, Relation between husband and wife should be like Karanji. The wife is inner sweet stuff while husband is like outer skin. To make nice Karanji he has to bear the pain from spikes of the wheel and protect the inner stuff from the same.
