Dear Malini and all,

????????????????????????? The unfortunate happened which I started discussing

with you a couple of days back and this time in Jalandhar. Ashutosh was almost

killed as some one tried to push the broken window pane in his stomach. Here are

a few letters being discussed at IMA group. Identity of the people have been

hidden by me. Now you can very well know how dangerous this jungle is ?

Dr. Anurudh is very right in his opinion.

Those who were present at the site ,were moved to see the pathetic condition in

the hospital ,these gundas created and Blood soaked body of Dr. Ashutosh .

The police infact plays a party to these gundas to create a scene in the

hospitals/Nursing Homes.

I am sure the police is well conversant with the anti doctor elements, but for

their impotency /inability to put these elements behind bar these gundas

(professionals) are let free.This is?done with the help and guidance of tiny to

big politicians.All outdated politicians and the current MLas ,provoke these

gundas to create such scenes , to be in the news. One of the MLAs of Jalandhar

tried to snub the agitating doctors with the help of his Chamchas .

Let there be an independent enquiry in to all the incidents of hooglism in the

recent past, I am sure many politicians and police personals will be there

behind bar or In the witness boxes? the court.

The unity and strength shown by Jalandhar branch?and Dharna with complete road

blockage and forcing distt. Administration to come in action at jalandhar is

praiseworthy.

Now it is turn of Punjab IMA and Central body of IMA to take action .

Dear members,it is very unfortunate that Dr.Ashutosh Gupta of Doaba Hospital,

Jalandhar was beaten up brutally by the mob in the wee hours today for no fault

of his.The patient in Coma? due to Head Injury ,on ventillator for 3 days? dying

unfortunately? is no reason? for vandalism? and hooliganism.

I.M.A jalandhar? struck work? and had? to collectively demonstrate.This brought

the police and dist.adm in action who had to book the rogues.

I HAVE ONLY ONE SUBMISSION IN THIS REGARD AND THAT IS WHY CANNOT THE I.M.A.

PUNJAB LOBBY TO BRING THE ANDHRA LIKE ORDINANCE FOR THE PROTECTION OF ITS

MEMBERS?

Are we impotent? enough to get this done?ITS BEEN HANGING FIRE FOR A LONG TIME

NOW.

Are we just good at taking up petty issues which too get buries prematurely?

When are we going to get up from the slumber?

Please Mr.Presidents et all do something about urgently.Throw your weight around

now.
