Congrats to Seema. As I told her yesterday it was a great achievement. The

pass rate is about 20% in a good year (this year the pass list has a ratio

of 16% for UK trained graduiates vs overseas...). The exam is very British

in the sense it is quite difficult if you have not worked here

(communication, clinical governance etc). Also I was talking to one of the

examiners the other day and he said the pass rate was not going to be very

good as it was a tough exam and he had had to fail most on his station (and

he is a fairly benign guy)......

I am saying all this just to emphasise how well Seema has done...

Well done Seema. Hopefully we'll celebrate in London next weekend with

Seema/Shyam/Sohana........after the convocation.

Shyam- small price to pay cooking etc. In your mail I also sense pride.....

I know LP has been more proud of my academic/professional achievements than

myself.

for the refresher courses..and then the practical exams..and finally

sadly,only 3 cleared..from Saudi Arabia.
