Guest guest
So glad you got him to a " different " hospital. We'll continue to pray hard here on our end. Thanks for the update, my wife had asked this morning if I'd seen anything. God Bless you all. Guest guest
Hi Daire has just got home from A & E in a different Paediatric Hospital than normal- my husband brought him after work. They agree that it was the best approach to put him on an antibiotic as when they assessed him by stethascope they can hear crackles on his lungs. They agree he is not a well boy. They agree that he is limp, and unresponsive to his name etc. but that we should give the Antibiotics a chance to work, before panicing. So he has an appointment in the hospital next Thursday with ENT at which point he will have finished the Antibiotic and will be reassessed and X-Rayed if necessary. He was told to keep up fluids, give pain relief as necessary. They got a urine sample (as I put a urine bag on him before he left here) so they will send that off to be tested. Told hubby to keep a record of his irriatibility, feeds, times, vomits, coughing episodes etc. They are happy in so much as he's hydrated suffiently = wetting and dirtying nappies. So at least its on record that he was seen by a doctor in the hospital. We can do no more, I've asked a neighbour of mine who is a nurse, to check in on him over the next week+, so at least we will get some reassureance he's getting better. All we can do now is have faith in his ability to pull through this.
