Guest guest
Mel - OMG I feel your pain, oh boy do I feel your pain. That is the worst pain I have ever had and can still remember it well - 15 hours of it!! recommends Buscopan, its a muscle relaxant and can help. Also get it seen to - if you have had an attack, they will wait about 6 weeks for the swelling to go down before they operate so you have a bit of time to prepare yourself. Guest guest
Mel I was about to wish you a belated happy birthday I sympathise re the gall bladder pain I spent 6 weeks in hops with mine before surgery To have it removed Get some buscopan this will give some relief and its over the counter now Do go to emergency though if it continues You really need pethadine or similar for proper relief Take care please Leeanne -- A pain... a big one!!!! Well... after an attack many years ago and never a twinge since, last night I was up all night with a gall bladder attack. The pain shocking... the thought of it all, horrid. It took about an hour to figure out what the pain was. I thought I had bad wind stuck in my belly - but as time went on, I realised the pain was under my arm and up over my shoulder and I could not stand to press on my gall bladder area... far out!!!!! Every hour I would think, if it doesn't let up in an hour, I will go to the emergency room. I struggled through until about 5am when it subsided. I now feel like I have been in the boxing ring with Mundine hitting me in my stomach all night. Bugger!!!! I layed in bed doing my childbirth breathing whilst Craig snored away having no idea of my plight. I was thinking, this is bad, this is bad... Craig is off to Melbourne tomorrow for a day or so, and is getting her tonsils out tomorrow... this is bad, this is bad!!!! Craig is going to the UK for two weeks next Monday - so at least if it flares up again this badly, will be over the worst of it by then. BUGGER!!!! Nic...what is the name of the over the counter drug that can help? No more fatty stuff for me until further notice! Mel
