Guest guest
Diverticulitis Diverticulitis is a medical disorder in which a weakness in the colon wall causes pockets to form. When foods get trapped in those pockets, the condition can cause serious pain and even inflammation. One part of dealing with diverticulitis is your diet. While a lack of roughage can cause the problem over a period of time, roughage can aggravate the problem when inflammation is present. A diet containing mostly natural foods (staying away from highly processed foods) is the best long-term cure. In the meantime, try this tea for control of the inflammation and pain. Two teaspoons chamomileOne teaspoon marshmallow rootOne teaspoon goldensealThree teaspoons wild yamThis mixture will make one pitcher of tea. Drink three cups a day.- Carla Joy
