Guest guest
Hi, I just wanted to say that everyone in this group is so wonderful! I have another question for everyone. Our son was born with idiopathic vocal cord paralysis. Just recently I was told by our E.N.T that it is brain related. I am meeting with a new pediatric neurologist tomorrow. I was wondering if any other children from this group have vocal cord paralysis that is related to PMG?? Thanks,
Guest guest
, I'm wondering if perhaps there are degrees to this diagnosis? It hasn't come up with my kidlet, but it would make sense for some, I think, given the various findings on MRI. There's so much to know, isn't there? And sometimes it seems as if the wheel must be reinvented for each child. Blessings, mom to
Guest guest
has vocal cord paralysis on the left side. Neuro and slp thought it was a result of the pmg. The paralysis was visible on the barium swallow x-ray. has bilateral perisylvian pmg and general weakness on the left side above the waist.
