That is disturbing indeed. Any details (update)? How come a wooden

house in Pune, was it a farmhouse?

Dinesh's father-in-law is an Avtar Meher Baba bhakt, so he had part

converted the lower portion of their house to Meher Baba's mandir. The house

was called Meher Darbar. It was more than 100 years old and constructed

totally of wood. It was situated in a prime locality in Pune (Near Daruwalla

bridge)- The place is not as 'high' as it sounds.

It was quite dilapidated so essentially it needed reconstruction. However,

the sudden fire would have burnt all documents and consumer items and

clothes.

In fact, the Sharma family was fast asleep, when someone from the road threw

a stone at their window, alerting them to the smoke coming out. Hardly had

the family stumbled down the smouldering wooden stairs, when the entire

staircase collapsed, and they had a providential escape.

Dinesh works as a medical officer with CGHS and so is trying to get

government quarters allotted to him on a priority basis.

Disturbing news indeed ,Kishoreda..but thankfully, they all r safe.

(My stupid take...Kishoreda..)..I don't think,Shri Avtarji's bhakt..or Shri

Avtaarji predicted..such an unfortunate event...

It also came..as a Surprising News..to this History Recording Events..(Ghost..in

Deep Woods..Cave),that..

Prof.S. Sharma(Patho)..is the son..of..Princi.Prof Sharma(Pharmac)..

I think,with two..absolutely opposite personality, traits etc..then,the

similarity,was never made..and hence..this ' 84 batch guy,was never aware..of

this relation, all throughout..the 8 and 1/2 yrs of my stay there.

Bye.

Disturbing news

I read in the local Pune papers that the house of Dr. Dinesh Sharma was

burnt to the ground completely in the early morning of 30th Dec.

In case you don't know, Dinesh is an MGIMS alumnus of 72 batch. He is also

the younger son of Dr. ML Sharma, the second principal of MGIMS, and brother

of Dr. S Sharma of Pathology (currently) MGIMS.

Very fortunately no one was injured, however the loss was tremendous as the

house was a totally wooden structure and was completely razed to the ground.

Really a disturbing news...! Being close in batches Dinesh was quite close

to our batch people.

While Patho Sharma was our teacher so not so close...! Ofcourse naturewise

Dinesh was freeeee

to talk and so very close to M L Sharama sir..!!( Remember article writen by

Kishore on " the Holi ( holy..?!!) jokes. ( Ofcourse Dr Shrma Patho is also

equally free which I realised after my son's admission...!)

The sad icidence has occured to a jolly person. It is more

disturbing......!!!!
