Guest guest
Hi, In Response to your rapid heart rate I am not sure if it is " normal " But I am diagnosed with cf, fm and resently chronic myofacial pain d/o. My heart rate often times reaches 95 to 100 simple tasks with a sudden drop. I have reported this to my PCP with little concern from her. My husband can feel my heart racing when I am attempting to sleep and counts the beats. I don't even realize it is happening. > > hello, > > some information on me: 28 years old, former smoker, 5'5 " /135lbs with > CFS diagnosis/some FM symptoms. > > i tried to do some graded exercise on those machines that move your > arms and legs, cross-country style, for 15 minutes yesterday. Guest guest
Congrats Jayne!!!! You're right losing weight is a very difficult battle!!! PCOS makes it even harder, my gyno told me that people with PCOS burn insulin 3x slower than normal bodies so we have to work 3x harder to get the weight off. I also plateaued at 230, but I then went back up again because I was taking almost a full credit load at school and I work full time so I had no energy left to cook or exercise and we were living off pizza and fast food. I am getting married in September and am trying really hard to lose weight for the wedding, we have a treadmill, but by the time I get home from work I just want to crash, maybe I'll try your system and start small, it sounds like it's working for you Take care, Steph jaynes_photos wrote: I understand about the weight frustrations too. I have been heavy all my life. It wasn't until I was 21 that I found out that part of it was because of my PCOS. Jan 1st 2006, I started my resolution to walk every single day. Guest guest
Ladies, afterall the inspirational talk yesterday... something about 7km runs and 1 hour walks etc etc, I was feeling guilty so I just went for a bike ride. Mel I hear you - I HATE exercise also, but I don't have the guts to join a gym, not just yet maybe in another10 kgs or so will I have more confidence. The bike ride was so embarressing. I got on the bike (which I bout 2 years ago and this is my second time on it) and the tyres were so flat I was sitting on the rims... My husband nearly pee'd himslef - JERK!! Anyway, went for the ride, had my IPOD in and I could hear myself huffing and puffing over the music!!! hahahaha such a fit soul I am!! having said that though, that was 10 minutes of exercise I otherwise would not have done so yay for me... My backside is killing me though. I think that if they want to encourage exercise why make the seats so uncomfortable??? now I need a nap I think! Good luck Mel at the gym! Yolande xx ps - thanks for the kind words everyone!!
