I have a 3 year old son who started having seizures at 1 month old and has no

diagnosis but has major delay. My 2 month old son started having seizures last

Saturday and had his first eeg Last Sunday it

revealed abnormality in right occipital, and 2nd eeg done friday reveals

abnormalities showing in the left occipital/parietal area. MRI done Thursday was

normal but I just spoke to neuro 15 minutes ago who mentioned this

polymicrogyria to me as a what he suspects it to be and is having the

MRI sent to a specialist who knows how to look for this. My newest son

still will not focus on me but seems to see his toys hanging from his

mobile. Any suggestions or help will be appreciated. My 3 year old

cannot walk or talk or see and I'm praying this does not repeat itself

the same way. Does anyone have 2 children with the same condition. My 3 year old

son developed infantile spasms at 8 weeks. I have a son who is 5 years old who

is without any delays or seizures. He is " normal " . Neuro said he would send us

to Boston if this it what they decide it is. What can they do for us there?

Thanks, Norma, Florida

As children bring their broken toys with tears for us to mend...I brought my

broken dreams to GOD because he is my friend...But then instead of leaving him

in peace to work alone...I hung around and tried to help with ways that were my

own..At last I snatched them back and cried, " How can you be so slow? " My

child, he said, What could I do, you never did let go? Author Unknown
