After you wrote this to the list you wrote one to me in private, , not as nice as this one I might add. Seems I've hurt your feelings over my comments about your statement. For that in public I say, I'm sorry. Now can we get on with other things? ~Becky M.
Guest guest
Lamar here, A couple of years ago, I read an article specifically relating to exercise and CMT. I can't locate it now. The synopsis is that any strenuous exercise which would cause a lactic acid buildup in the muscles or possibly injure the muscles is contraindicated. When our muscles are damaged they do not recover like they do with those that do not have CMT. They used the adage, " No Pain-no gain--is NOT the patrh those with CMT should follow. Gentle exercise, water exercise, range of motion, passive exercises, casual walking etc was encouraged.

Guest guest
, I wrote to Feng called; they never answered email. When I called they said I had to come in for an appointment, which is understandable. My PCP doc called her too, but he never tells me anything! That's why I'm getting a new PCP, closer to where I live too. I had to practically beg for lab test results. I was in the service industry too (hair stylist) if I treated my clients the way most of these doctors have treated me, I would hve been sued 100x by now. And they wonder why their malpractice insurance is so high!
Guest guest
She hasn't answered my email either. I think she must be very busy or doesn't check it too often these days. She used to respond to it really fast. I think that if you call her that is your best bet. I am surprised she didn't talk to you without an appointment, I mean how can you be expected to just come in if you are so far away? Love ----- Original Message ----- From: ShihtzusRock@... Guest guest
Hi , I do easy Pilate's unless I am really bad. I try to do a bit on my exercise bike when I can even if it's just gentle peddling. Take Care, Lynne
Guest guest
Hi , I got a dvd from a site called play.com. The USA site is playusa.com. The dvd I got features a well known English presenter who is a large lady and I figured if she could do it I could. So far I am managing, it's yoga like and is very low impact. You may be able to find something similar in the US. Hope this helps, Lynne
