That was..a wonderful set of 3 emails..highlighting the drawbacks..of Today's

Medical Education..and some wonderful recommendations...which have sadly

stayed..till date on paper...

Nice..of u..also, to break it into parts..to make the reader..stay..focussed..on

what..U and ur friend,..had to say...

All of us...I am sure,...and..me,in particular..would have.been glad..and

happy,...had..such recommendations..been implemented.during my times,in Medical

College....

Yes...the teachers.,...have all been excellent,caring...and very sincere..and

tried their level best...to explain..to us..the basic concepts,....all

to..well..

But...the subjects...have been very..DRY...and Very...Difficult..to

understand...and today...most of it.,.is useless..to my field...

Like...for eg, " The...Femoral Triangle...and it's structure.. " .for..which..we

had.devised..all those n number..of Mnemonics,...have all been forgotten.,by

me....long ...long...ago.

(Although,I must confess.....sometimes...during one of my worst nightmares,...I

am..woken..up..rudely from sleep...by dreams..of..an External...asking..me...the

Biochem..configuration...of..a..Cholesterol Molecule!!..and I just, looking

lost..at Prof.Taori's face..)

On an ending note..yes...I hope..they r implemented.soon...

I am aware..of many such colleges,round the world,.where some of our Saudi

Medicos go,for fellowships.....etc,.which has made..the learning..simpler..and

streamlined..and also..helped..students..come out as good doctors.....
