Guest guest
Hi All I was banded on the 23rd of june and received my first fill last week. I have been scared to eat anything out of my comfort zone and have made sure that my food is still relatively mushy or moist. I decided this morning to step out of my comfort zone and try something real, so I bought a bacon and egg wrap. I knew I would not get through it all but I started with half and didnt finish that. I made sure that I took small bites and chewed it very well. I found it went down relatively easy and I enjoyed every mouthful! I stopped not because I was feeling any discomfort but I wasnt hungry and I assumed I had had enought Its about 20 mins later I now have a very full sensation and am glad that I stopped when I did. My question is how do you know when to stop? Is it purely understanding how much food you should be eating? I really dont want to push it too far and end up in the toilet - but I know that this is inevitable and will happen sometime. I also find that I still get some shoulder tip pain every now and then. I doesnt come on when I eat but it stays for at least 4 hours when I get it. Is this normal?
Guest guest
All trial and error! If I am going out .. I like to pre plan.. if you are going to the Steakhouse you can think about what you can now and not stress out on the day and enjoy the social bit! In regards to that pain.. I get it to. It's a bit weird and really uncomfortable.. Quik Ease may help?
