Guest guest
Hi Mazz, Mel, Elaine, and others, He went through this one better than the last, and with great relief I can say it's steady as she goes....no further retinal damage to his remaining partially seeing eye. What a relief, I could have kissed that doctor when he gave us the news, I really thought we were heading for total vision loss. Henry is as if nothing happened now, he's eaten a bowl of weetbix, had toast with honey, and a couple of bickies, had his evening shower, drawn us a scribbly picture of " a sick princess at Christmas and she got better because she has medicine " (Christmas is a common topic around here, no matter what time of the year), used at least a foot of sticky tape to stick it on a cupboard and is now settling down for his twilight DVD on our bed, so all is right with the world. Aaaahhhhh. The last procedure he went through, he was very knocked about, so this is all good. Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts. This tired princess is soon off to bed. It's been a whopper of a day, but a nice outcome. (A)
