Guest guest
Dear Angie, My name is and I was officially diagnosed with Still's approx. 2 3/4 years ago. About 13 years ago, when we wanted to try to start a new family, I got pregnant immediately. Great news, except I miscarried 6 1/2 weeks later. Doc says, no problem, it happens to everyone, try again. We did, I got pregnant quickly again, and again I miscarried 6 1/2 weeks later. After that, I knew there was a problem, went to a fertility doctor who then said practice safe sex before we know any answers to why you are miscarring. Well it was too late, again I was pregnant, and again I miscarried. They begin to run lots of tests on me and my husband which seemed to take forever. Finally, they came back with an answer, I was what they called " Pre-Lupus. " My blood work had a problem with something called B-cell antibodies and I had anti- phosphyllipid syndrome. Great, we new what is was could they help me. They did, withs lots of patience, medicines and praying. After five more miscarriages, I finally have 2 miracles boys at home. I want you to know that this was all before I was ever officially disgnosed with Still's. I had been sick and the doctors could never diagnose the problem. After many years, I finally had a extremely serious episode that precluded us finding out what had been wrong with me since I began trying to have kids. The sad thing is, when I used to ask the doctors nurses or laboratory, did I have lupus? they would say, no honey, only your blood looks like you do. I don't think I was wrong, it was something. I just want you to know, that it is possible, I didn't have fevers at the time over 102 like you, but consult a fertility specialist in your area that deals with patients with lupus that want to get pregnant and speak with them. Good Luck and e-mail me if you have any questions, dahtdah_denise
Guest guest
, Thank you so much for the encouraging update. I just started Remicade and felt great for about two days then came down with 104 fever. My second treatment is scheduled for Thursday the 21st of this month but if I don't kick this fever I am afraid that they will not give it to me. I hear that the grass is greener on the other side of the second treatment. I am hoping that this can help me shrug off some of the flares and maybe I can look forward to having at least one healthy child. Thanks again, Angie dahtdah_denise wrote: Recent Activity 1 New Members 13 New Photos Visit Your Group Get Discounts Yahoo! Shopping Compare prices and find great deals. Yahoo! TV Love TV?
