Guest guest
My daughter Rowan is 15 mos old, and she has bilateral PMG. She has only had one siezure about 3 weeks ago that was very brief and a few days after a vaccination so that is what I think caused it. We were told that she could " suddenly " develop seizures any time, but more commonly around the age of 3-4 with no warning, with a 75-80% chance of this happening. I was wondering what the ages of your children were when they developed seizures, what type of PMG they have and how severe your kids were afterwards vs. beforehand. Rowan is doing very well with her cognitive abilites, she is right on track with all her mental milestones, waving, pointing, laughing etc. She can sign some things and although she does not crawl she can roll everywhere and is starting to bear some weight (in her AFO's and shoes). I am so worried she will get seizures in a year to three years and become a vegetable. That would be so devestating, and I try not to think about it but it is hard because although she is non-verbal she communicates so well, and is thriving with her G-tube (she eats nothing by mouth, high aspiration risk).
