Guest guest
Dear fellow bandits. This question is addressed to you. My dear friend who will banded this Wednesday came over this evening for a boost for her op. She told me that she had spent 5 hours last night on the lapbandforum site and was shocked to find out that in most cases the port has to be replaced after a few years. She asked if this was true. My logic said - i dont think so - otherwise the surgeon would have mentioned it and also if that was the case who the heck would have the lapband knowing they had to go for re-surgery 2 years later? Anyhow, I told her I would ask the wise and resourseful lapband sisters and brothers of mine on the list - cos I was sure they would know. Please help - i know this is a tuffy this time of night. regards and best wishes UmmAleah (M)
