Guest guest
Wow, I didn't know MRI's could take so long! Don't think I could handle that long myself. He should pat himself on the back just for that, plus being willing to participate. Do they share any thoughts from the assessments/tests with you at some point? > > Ds just finished an mri for an ocd genetics research study. Did assessment and salvia samples last week. Guest guest
They will share the assessment part with his psychologist. Study is still open for a few more years, but hopefully in the future the study results are available. It would be interesting to see what they find out. > > Wow, I didn't know MRI's could take so long! Don't think I could handle that long myself. Guest guest
That is great! To help out with research is a wonderful thing. I've been in MRIs that take that long, they started to make me claustrophobic, and I don't have an anxiety disorder. Good for him for doing so well. It would be interesting to know what specifically they find out from the tests. BJ > > Ds just finished an mri for an ocd genetics research study. Did assessment and salvia samples last week.
