Thanks everyone! Her IEP went very well. In fact we were all crying

and hugging at the end...a love-fest! LOL really brings out

the best in people.

I did find out one distressing thing, though. She had a hearing test

done and it showed she has suffered some mild hearing loss. I

discovered today that her aide has been allowing her to adjust the

volume on her headphones she uses during computer time at school and

she has been blasting out her own eardrums! Fortunately her doctor

thinks this is not permanent damage and her teacher assured me today

that they will use different headphones and carefully monitor the

volume.

I'm so glad things went well for you. Too bad more IEP's don't turn out as

well.

Common sense that if you can hear it, it's too loud in the person's ear.
