I'M SOMEBODY

[A REPLY TO EMILY DICKINSON'S " I'M NOBODY " ]

I'M SOMEBODY! YOU KNOW IT'S TRUE.

AREN'T YOU - SOMEBODY - TOO?

I HOPE WE CAN BE A PAIR!

SO THERE! IT'S LESS LONELY - YOU KNOW!

HOW DREARY - TO BE - NOBODY!

HOW LONESOME - LIKE THE MIST -

TO SHOUT YOUR NAME - IN EMPTINESS -

TO PROVE THAT YOU EXIST!

Sharissa did you know that is felt to be one on spectrum from her

era except they did not have a name for auitsm then. but if you study

of her work, thinking, and words on her it reads much like a female

spectrumite to me. I too love of her poetry.

Sondra,

Yes, I do know - and so were DaVinci, Van Gogh, Edison, Einstein (of

course) and countless other " eccentric geniuses! "

Apparently, he and I have the same type of vision - his paintings look

like the world I see every day.
