Guest guest
I hear what you are saying. We saw the therapist yesterday for the second time. AP did not tell the psychiatrist about her cutting last week when she saw him for the first time. When she came out yesterday, I asked her if she told the therapist everything. AP was told by the therapist she needs to seek help in other ways rather than cut herself. my daughter said she has no feelings at times and she cuts herself in an attempt to feel. She told me on the car ride home " I feel so dead inside and so confused because I cannot stop the thoughts of counting or brushing my teeth or making sure my hair is ok " she has almost brushed the enamel off her teeth. Her hair is so thin is looks like strings on her head. She is in AP physics and doing really bad...when I asked why she said there is too much stuff on the wall and she has to count everything! When I went to open house, I understood what she meant because the wall had stuff from previous classes and even the ceiling tiles had designs on them, her teacher said he thinks she is on drugs because she simply stares at the wall or ceilings. I do appreciate all the feedback and from reading the logs, I have realized, my child is simply a beautiful 16 year old who should be out having fun instead of locking herself in her room because she is tired of being the 'weird one' all the time.
