DR'S ADVICE?

As I posted before my daughter had a sudden onset of OCD symptoms. As I have

been researching OCD I was directed to the website pandaresourcenetwork.org on

this website I found some interesting information that stated " other autoimmune

illness may cause sudden onset ocd and other neuropsychiatric disorders....lyme

disease, thyroid disease... " My daughter (this year) was dx'd with and

autoimmune disease called Hoshimotos Thyroiditis. This is a thyroid disease.

Her body produces antibodies that attack her thyroid, causing her thyroid to be

either under or overactive. I am wondering if there is a dr associated with

this group that might be able to answer if this thyroid disease and the

antibodies that are attacking my daughters thyroid could any way be the cause of

the ocd.
