Guest guest
I saw that site too. Be interested to hear if anyone found it helpful, and with what ages! > > Has anyone seen the website ocdchallenge.com? It's basically erp treatment at home with an interactive website. You identify triggers and practice exposing yourself to them and use positive coping skills to ride out the fear. I'm a little afraid to start this with my child on my own. I've been having problems finding a therapist in my area who does erp therapy. >
Guest guest
I have not seen this web site, but when my daughter first started having symptoms about 3 months ago I was having trouble finding a therapist, so I read a book called " Freeing your child from OCD. " I started my own ERP and CBT therapy at home. It worked wonders. We are finally in seeing a therapist every week, but I would say on our own at home she improved by about 70%. Again I have not seen the web site, but I say if you educate yourself you can totally get started at home! > > Has anyone seen the website ocdchallenge.com? Guest guest
I think it depends on high your child's anxiety is. We did not have success with the ERP and CBT til we could bring my son's anxiety down with meds first and then we could do the work. > > > > Has anyone seen the website ocdchallenge.com?
