Anyone heard of Cumberland in VA?

My son is on the wait list for 's and so far it has been the only

consideration for residential treatment. However, a mom from another group I'm

on had mentioned Cumberland Hospital in VA that she is considering for her

daughter with PANDAS and OCD. My son has Tourette's and OCD.

I had never heard of Cumberland, so I went on the website and it does look

pretty impressive. I spoke today with the intake coordinator and she said she

felt from our initial conversation it could be a fit for my son. I'm forwarding

recent reports, info, etc. and she's going to have it reviewed by their staff

and get back to me.

My big concern is that this facility is just a little over 2 hours from here and

I had never heard of it before now. Of course I've heard a ton about 's,

but never Cumberland. Now, granted, it is not just for OCD/anxiety disorders, so

perhaps that's why I hadn't heard of it.
