The thing I really like about Jin Shin is that you can learn to do it fairly

easily. I have even taught my kids some things they can do to themselves. I have

been trying to get back into doing it more because I have had some nice

improvements when I am consistent. There is a main central routine that you can

do to yourself easily while laying in bed and when I was doing it consistently I

was feeling more energetic and less hungry. I have had about 3 days total of

training and I am sure if I did it more often I would be more effective. One

thing that amazes me about the Jin Shin is that the practitioner who does it at

the OT clinic can get all kinds of kids to sit still for 30 to 60 minute

treatments!

I totally agree, and for those of you who know nothing

about it, these are very easy noninvasive things like

having your child or yourself just hold their thumb

with their other hand or any of their fingers on both

hands for like 5 minutes each. Some of the fingers

will put you to sleep when you hold them and others

give you more energy, it is very amazing. When my

husbands crohn's is the worst and he can not sleep, he

even asks me to hold both of his pinky fingers at the

same time. It is called jumper cabaling and it works.

For him it does not fix him, but it makes the pain

subside till he can fall asleep.

These things are so strong and amazing that they can

cause you to stop bleeding if you have an open wound

or start bleeding if you need to have a period, etc. I

have made myself start bleeding many times since my

periods are so irregular and have once stopped my

bleeding when I had bled for 10 days straight and was

loosing energy and too much blood.

It is awesome to realize that we as people have this

much power, that we don't even realize we have, if we

are taught and if we are in harmony with our bodies

and nature.
