Guest guest
I dont think school is the place to do ERP at least initially. I would have her moved so she can learn and work on family members spitting on her at home then transitioning to strangers as an exercise but not as part of real life. Does she have a 504 or IEP? If so, go in and explain that she needs to be moved as part of the plan. I have seating needs as part of the 504 plan we have so he does not have to sit near kids that triggger him. Then we work on the stuff at home and then re introduce it in the classroom as we can. Good luck
Guest guest
Katismom, Thank you for taking the time to share your daughter's story. When you are in the midst of helping your child struggle with OCD, it really helps to read such positive outcomes. All the best,
Guest guest
Thanks for the input. You may be right, as she continues to obsess about this boy. She sees her dr. on Friday, so we may have to make a change next week. > > I dont think school is the place to do ERP at least initially.
