Hi, I am new to this group, this is my first posting. My seven year old son was

diagnosed with OCD last year also.

I would love to connect with another family with such a young child too, as you

say most things seem geared to older children.

We have been in CBT but have not introduced medication yet. It is something on

our minds at the moment but don't know what to do!?

Would be great to share our experiences and possibly get our children to meet!?

Let me know your thoughts.

My seven year old daughter was diagnosed with OCD last year. We've been in

cognitive therapy since then and have recently introduced Zoloft into our

treatment plan with great success.

However, my daughter has been expressing feelings of isolation because she feels

like no one else understands what she is going through. I assured her that she's

not alone in her issues but I'd really love to touch base with other families in

the area dealing with the same issues.

All of the support groups I've found so far seem geared towards teens or adults.

Any ideas?
