Guest guest
I live near that area, and you won't find anyone there that understands OCD. There is this gentleman in Tacoma though Neil M. Kirkpatrick , Ph.D. 2522 North Proctor, PMB# 452 Tacoma, Washington 98406-5388 nkirkpatrick@... http://www.asrcseattle.com He works at the same clinic in Seattle too, that our son goes to. They are good there, but I haven't met him personally. I'm not sure what his " insurance " situation is. You would have to call to see what they take. Best of luck. It's hard when they hit the teen years, and they won't communicate with you. I know. Our son is 19 and it's the same here. BJ > > My 17 yr is having more issues with doing her chore (dishes) and I have noticed a lot of tapping. She was diagnosed at 10. I suspect it started about 1st grade. She did have a counselor for a while in late elementary and through middle school. At this age, she doens't talk to me about it anymore. She has never been on medications just Inositol. I think it is time for her to see someone again. I am not sure if I want to go with Psychologist or just a counselor. We can have 4 visits with only a copay after that we have to pay it all. We don't have prescription coverage. > > I would prefer not to have to drive to Seattle. > > Peggy >
