Guest guest
My 22 yr. old son with newly diagnosed bipolar was on abilify. He was only on abilify and has never been on meds. before. Seemed very agitated, shaking/tremor episodes. Maybe if it is given with other med.s, it works better. > > Doctor wants to put OCD and anxiety ridden son on Abilify, along with Klopin and Concerta. Guest guest
My son was on Abilify, and it gave him diarrhea. He refused to eat his school lunch because he didn't want to use the school's toilet (contamination issues). So we took him off the drug. Everyone reacts differently to pharmaceutical drugs and supplements. Your best bet is to try the drug and see how your son reacts. Guest guest
You didn't mention the dose....this is important. Ability can cause some anxiety initially. Low doses are best at first even if it's not a therapeutic so that you don't attribute the side effects to the drug not working. I hope it helps your child. Guest guest
Lindsey - 15 is on 15 mg of abilify and 0.5 mg of klonopin. The klonopin is what really helps the anxiety for her. jennie Re: Anyone else on Abilify You didn't mention the dose....this is important. Ability can cause some anxiety initially.
