Guest guest
There's a scale called the children's yale-brown obsessive-compulsive scale that can be given by clinicians--- all of the SSRI's appear to work equally well for children with ocd--- those would be the best ones to start with as they have the best evidence... Sincerely, > > Just wondering if there is a certain medication prescribed more often to younger children with OCD. My daughter just turned 7 and we are considering medication so just trying to understand all the different ones out there for young children. Also what is the main indicator in OCD that makes a parent decide medication. Is there a scale that measure the severity of OCD. I'm not sure what to compare her OCD to that would make it severe enough for medication if that makes any sense. >
