My daughter wet the bed until she was 9 or 10 --she is 12 now and has stopped

but that is an interesting thought because that could explain why she continued

doing that for so long

I didn't realize there was a connection between bedwetting and OCD. My

12-year-old son still wears a pull-up at night, but we have to wake him up

and take him to the bathroom very late each night or else he still wets the

bed. Tonight my son is going on a camp-out, but he sleeps in his own tent

because he's concerned another child will see that he's wearing a pull-up.

Our urologist has said that my son is an extremely heavy sleeper, and also

has a bladder that is too small for his age (considered a birth defect, I

think), but nobody has said anything about a connection with OCD. I would

be interested to hear from anyone who has information on this.

I've often wondered if there was a connection between bedwetting and ocd.  My

son wet his bed occasionally until he was about 12.  There were always problems

at camping trips because the kids were already up late, and he was such a heavy

sleeper.  The bathrooms are always inconvenient and he tends to forget to do

some of those daily things like take out his contacts, etc.  He finally stopped

but I have  wondered if there was some connection.
