I have so much trouble with this. She always gives me the lovey-mushy ones for

my b-day. But I can't give her one for her b-day or any other day.

My brother is getting married Sat. My nada is coming up for the wedding.

She'll be staying at my house. She's getting here on Friday and staying till

Sunday. Ever since I asked her not to extend her stay over xmas she refuses to

stay my house unless she has to. Playing the waif to the max. I WAS SO MEAN TO

HER.

Somehow the lovey-mushy ones just don't apply.

Same to you Pam! I had the same impulse. We do so much for our kids, go above

and beyond any parenting of " typical " kids. Think we all need extra

acknowledgment of what it is to be a Mum, carrying all the usual load, plus all

the demands that come along with dealing with OCD.

So, I'm giving us all a PAT ON THE BACK, for all that we Mums do!!! Hope

someone showed their appreciation for you today. My kid doesn't always show it,

but I know he appreciates all I've done for him, and if he doesn't, I do!
