Guest guest
Okay, here it goes. I cannot stand feet. I only started wearing sandals about 3 years ago. I cannot stand for my feet to be touched and HATE anyone touching me with their feet. When the girls were born I loved their newborn feet, but at some point I get really grossed out by their feet touching me. It's a cleanliness/smell thing. I hate the way feet smell and only can tolerate them just washed. Now the other night my husband stepped on some glass and I was able to pick it out, but I think it was because I knew I needed to to make him feel better. Ask me right now to go over & grab his feet & I can't do it. My aunt used to tell me how pretty her feet were (she's very full of herself) and I would said, " Aunt L, they're FEET! No one has pretty feet. " In the last few years I've become close friends with someone whose husband has a foot fetish. I have found that to be incredibly wierd, but it has helped me be more laid back about feet when I hear him cracking jokes about them. So, there's my foot issue. And, in anatomy II the other day we were discussing the babinski reflex, touch, tickle, etc. People from around the room began discussing how this person couldn't stand feet, that person couldn't stand to have his/her feet touched. I think all in all, people are very sensitive about feet! Unless you're a wierdo freak that gets thrills from feet -- but hey, to each his/her own! Guest guest
My husband is the same way with feet. Even with our kid's feet when they were babies. He's gotten a little better over the 11+ years that I've known him, but he wouldn't voluntarily touch anyone's feet! I think it's a pretty common problem...I wouldn't worry too much about getting her over the foot phobia, just maybe work on a more appropriate reaction (saying " Please don't do that! " instead of screaming, etc). Amnesty > > Okay, here it goes. I cannot stand feet. I only started wearing > sandals about 3 years ago. Guest guest
My mom can't stand feet either. She's in her sixties and she's just gotten to the point where my sister can touch her feet if she has to help with her foot care. She gets physical nausea too when she's around someone else's feet. -- Cassie Amnesty wrote: > My husband is the same way with feet. Even with our kid's feet when > they were babies. Guest guest
LOL I used to hate feet too! All my life, I didn't ever want anyone else's feet to touch me or I would freak out and get them away from me! LOL When I met my wife, however, who has beautiful feet, (that's right, there ARE beautiful feet! LOL) and she asked me to rub her feet, I got over that phobia! It's amazing! Guest guest
The worst is now with diabetes every time I go to the doctor he wants to look at my feet, test my feet for touch, etc. The first couple of times he told me to take off my shoes I thought I would die. Now I'm able to mentally prepare myself, lol. I know it's weird, the foot thing. It's funny, my friend's husband with the foot fetish has given me confidence about feet 'cause he's told me I have nice feet. I know if he says it he must mean it. I'm also weird about shoes. I'm all about comfort, I don't get this thing of wearing 3 " + heeled shoes. I mean, sure they look nice, but my word, how on earth do women walk in them??? I got some suede boots, probably about a 3: heel to wear to church. I know half the church was about to die seeing me in these boots, the other half were watching me try to walk in them! Feet are just so wierd!!! Debi
