Guest guest
Hi folks, This might be a bit of a long shot, but would anyone be able to recommend (off-list perhaps) an excellent CBT therapist who's willing to work via Skype? Thanks very much, .
Guest guest
The deal with SCYPE is that it is not considered " face to face " therapy so insurance does not cover. Also mus be within state lines of you to have a valid licence. The one exception to this is if it is done over a study protocal. There are MANY of these going on all over the country. Go on the OCF website and click the reasearcgh button to access a list. We did the one at University of Southern Florida in St Pete. It was GREAT
Guest guest
Thanks, . I didn't even think of the possibility of participating in a research study, so I appreciate the suggestion. As far as cost is concerned, we're in Canada, so I think we'd have to pay out-of-pocket to work with a U.S.-based therapist. Thanks again, Schofield, Toronto. > > The deal with SCYPE is that it is not considered " face to face " therapy so insurance does not cover.
