She is a new worker for Miranda by the way. She did not seem to happy about this. I could not believe my eyes. I just put together a social story to see if this will help. Guest guest
Have you tried looking for a textural substitute? Like that slime stuff they sell (I don't know if it's age appropriate) or a cornstarch solution (boil water, add cornstarch to thicken -- I don't know if it would work -- it does with gravy) or thinned jellow or bubble soap. If she puts stuff in her mouth you'd have to find something non-toxic. Some of my suggestions stain so you'd have to have a special place to use them -- like outside or the bathtub. Or she might like the putting liquid on other things part so maybe a spray bottle (or bicycle bottle that squirts) of water (used outside) would work. Or maybe a water & a sponge? I remember the snot years -- yuk. My kids still think it's funny but they don't rub it on people anymore. -- Cassie dawn boatwright wrote: > my daughter is 4 and she spits on my legs and trys to rub it in. yuk! > she also rubs it on the TV and windows.
