The assistant principal at the high school actually SAID to me when my kid got

in trouble for an OCD related thing that they did not recognize for what it was

and was delt with inpropperly until I pushed it, " I wish I had OCD, my desk

would be neater! " . This was in January of this year. I reported him to the

principal, the superintendent, and the special ed coordinator. The principal

and special ed coordinator took the issue over, it got resolved for my son, and

now I just found out that the assistant principal got FIRED! Yay- he deserves it

as far as I am concerned- I dont even know what he was fired for but I am happy.

Karma for saying such an insensitive thing to someone- can you imagine saying to

a parent whose kid is dying in the hospital with cancer " I wish I had cancer, I

need to loose some weight " . I wouldnt happen

Can't believe this was said , well actually I can, have heard similar. But

not in the context or your kind of situation. You know the expression Karma's a

_________ Not that I believe Karma is really about that, but it fits so

perfectly in this instance.

Your analogy to cancer is perfect, I use that too. When you substitute just

about any serious physical illness for a mental health issue, it makes it so

very clear doesn't it??
