Guest guest
Thanks for all who responded to this post. I haven't had time to reply. We have a referral to a psych that specialized in anorexia, but she doesn't take insurance. Dh and I made an appt. for the two of us, but ended up cancelling it because it was $200.00, and dd started panicking when she heard about this and is terrified that we will *make* her go into treatment. I think she is taking baby steps towards progress, although she is experiencing lots of anxiety. She is talking to us, and added a protein shake. She looks horrible though (like my 81 year old mother). People are starting to make comments about her extreme thinness, and I am actually worried someone is going to contact CPS. She is seeing our family doc. My question is if someone reports us, can CPS make us hospitalize her or do anything else to us? Thanks,
